Anonymous DNS Servers - Internic Domain Registration
Information
These
servers do not point back to AUWEB.You
can list these dns servers for all of the domains you host
at AUWEB,
but end users will not be able to find AUWEB
by looking up. This provides additional business security
for webspace resellers.
How to transfer a .com, .net, or .org domain to our services:
1) go to the domain modification form at the domain
registrar you registered the domain name originally
2) In your domain management area, under the section
"Name Server Information", enter our dns servers
3)
list yourself as the Administrative Contact/Agent, Technical
Contact, and Billing Contact in the "Contact Information"
section
4) click the 'Submit This Form for Processing' button
How
to transfer a .com.au, .net.au, .org.au, .asn.au domain to
our services:
Repeat
the similar steps above for .com transfers via your domain
management company website. Being sure to change the Primary
and Secondary DNS in the Nameserver section to:
*Be
sure to list
yourself as the Administrative Contact/Agent, Technical Contact,
and Billing Contact in the "Contact Information"
section
Name to IP Mappings:
Our dns servers will automatically make the required dns mappings
for all of the domains that we host. If you plan to host the
dns records for your domains on dns servers other than ours,
then you will need to use the following name to IP mappings.
If you point your domain to our dns servers, you will not
need to worry about this information. You will need to contact
us for dns entries and ip addresses.
